You will have penalty on attack rolls when wielding a shield. Your reflex will suck ass with an Strength build. Your Touch AC is going to be none existent. Your AC is going to be very limited with heavy armor and strength.

(I might get this wrong so feel free to correct me)Ĭan't do normal things like skill check with heavy armor. Lets see what the downside to heavy armor strength users are vs unarmored DEX. Its almost like they should set a cap on how much AC you can get for dex. Look I like the alot of the DEX builds out there but I can't be the only one that looks at the DEX stat and goes: Well this stat certainly if its needed in literally every build out there. With things multiclassed into Alchemists, Duelists, Rogues, Monks or variations of these turns out to be a way better close range fighter then any strength based classes. Every single melee oriented build does way better with just being dex based. I just can't wrap my head around how a big bulky guy in heavy plate armor and a large ass towershield and the strength of 10 dragons can't take punishment for shit while a scrawny alchemist is an unbeatable god or a duelist that has infinite defensive stats. While I do think they should be fairly similar since they both kinda are physical attributes, but they are like night and day balance wise. Did the people that designed this rule set hate Strength as a stat? Its giganticly inferior to DEX in 99% of all builds especially when you're looking tanking builds. So I've been reading alot in this sub and being a noob at Pathfinder since I only started playing 5e recently I really noticed something that I found extremly strange in this game.
